CYTOG Relational Human Formation

Cross-Source Consolidation Record
Governing Field: Human Formation · Specialized Domain: Relational Human Formation · Source: RHF-RS-001 through RHF-RS-008 (Completed and Closed Programme) · July 2026

Section I

Part I — Purpose and Method

This record performs Stage 5 of the Relational Human Formation Developmental Workflow: Cross-Source Consolidation. It compares the eight completed and closed Research Streams (RHF-RS-001 through RHF-RS-008) against one another for repetition, convergence, contradiction, refinement, expansion, dependency, hierarchy, and genuine novelty, per Part IX of RHF-SD-001.

This record does not perform Stage 6 (Theory and Model Development). It identifies what the eight streams, read together, actually show — it does not yet promote any finding to formal theory status.

This record answers one question: what does the completed research programme show when its eight parts are read as one body of work, rather than eight separate documents?

Section II

Part II — Convergent Patterns

Five structural patterns recur independently across multiple streams. Independent recurrence, without cross-reference between the streams at the time of writing, is treated here as the strongest form of evidence the programme has produced.

Section III

Convergence 1 of 5

Convergence 1 — The Dual-Error Structure

Every stream that addresses interpretation of relational evidence independently arrives at the same two-sided caution: neither total acceptance nor total rejection of external input is safe.

Stream Error A (Over-Closure) Error B (Over-Openness)
RS-001 Total Self-Exoneration Total Self-Blame
RS-002 Refusing all relational feedback Accepting all relational feedback as truth
RS-004 Blind-Spot Resistance (reflexive denial) The False Blind-Spot Problem (uncritical acceptance of accusation)
RS-006 Conflict Avoidance disguised as peace Confrontation without relational responsibility
RS-007 Closed / Defensive Listening Compliant / Absorptive Listening

This is not five separate findings. It is one governing epistemic stance, independently rediscovered five times.

Working name for future reference: THE DUAL-ERROR PRINCIPLE OF RELATIONAL HUMAN FORMATION. Neither refusal nor absorption of relational evidence produces formation; only disciplined discernment between the two does.

Convergence 2 of 5

Convergence 2 — The Mirror Principle Operates at Two Scales

RS-002’s Mirror Principle (the person is revealed through relationship) and RS-008’s Institutional Mirror Principle (the system is revealed through its repeated outcomes) are the same analytical move applied to two different units of analysis.

RS-002: “Repeated relational patterns should be examined as possible evidence of an unrecognized pattern” — applied to a person.

RS-008: “Repeated relational outcomes may reveal something about the design of the system that produces them” — applied to an institution.

Read together, these establish that the Mirror Principle is a general property of relational systems at any scale.

Section V

Convergence 3 of 5

Convergence 3 — The Repeated-Pattern Principle

A single, more general evidentiary rule underlies at least four separate constructs: repetition across independent contexts raises the evidentiary weight of a claim, without ever making a single instance of that claim automatically true.

  • RS-002 — Patterned Reflection / the Multiple-Mirror Principle
  • RS-003 — recurring conflict around the same theme as a diagnostic signal
  • RS-004 — the Repeated-Pattern Principle, named explicitly
  • RS-008 — the Formal-Actual System Gap

Section VI

Convergence 4 of 5

Convergence 4 — A Common Formation Sequence Shape

Seven of the eight streams each propose their own sequence for converting relational experience into formation. Six collapse into the same five-phase shape, differently worded:

Phase RS-001 RS-002 RS-003 RS-006 RS-007
Event occurs Relational Event Exposure Event Tension Hear
Internal/behavioural response Internal + Behavioural Response Recognition Reaction Truth / Listening Clarify / Reflect
Evidence examined Reflection Verification Evidence Clarification Test
Meaning assigned, ownership taken Discernment + ID Interpretation + Resp. Interpretation + Resp. Responsibility Discern
Change practiced and reviewed Formation Resp. + Review Practice + Change Learning + Practice + Review New Practice + Review Decide + Review

RS-004’s Blind-Spot sequence and RS-005’s Recovery sequence remain legitimately distinct, not variants of the shared shape. RS-008’s Design Sequence is also distinct in kind — a systems-engineering cycle, not a personal formation cycle.

Section VII

Convergence 5 of 5

Convergence 5 — Six Assessment Matrices, No Shared Instrument

Six streams each propose their own multi-domain assessment matrix, and every one is explicitly marked as a developmental framework, not a finalized diagnostic instrument.

Stream Matrix Domains
RS-001 Relational Formation Matrix Self / Other / Interaction / Context (4)
RS-004 Blind-Spot Disclosure Matrix Self-Perception / Observed Behaviour / Relational Impact / Repeated Outcome (4)
RS-005 Self-Loss Assessment Matrix Voice / Boundaries / Conviction / Agency / Identity / Authenticity (6)
RS-006 Authentic Peace Assessment Matrix Truth / Voice / Boundaries / Accountability / Repair / Dignity (6)
RS-007 Listening Matrix Reception / Comprehension / Self-Awareness / Evaluation / Agency / Integration (6)
RS-008 Relational Systems Assessment Matrix 8 institutional domains

“Voice,” “Boundaries,” and “Agency” each appear as named domains in three or more of these matrices independently — the clearest evidence in the programme of an eventual shared instrument.

Section VIII

Part III — Identified Duplication

One concept was independently named, defined, and developed in two separate streams without cross-reference.

Relational Identity Capture

RS-001 (Part XI): “Relational Identity Capture occurs when another person, group, institution, or relational system acquires excessive influence over the individual’s self-definition… This concept requires further independent investigation before formal adoption as an established theory.”

RS-005 (Part XIV): “Relational Identity Capture occurs when another person, group, or relational system acquires excessive influence over an individual’s self-definition, judgment, emotional stability, choices, or sense of worth. Identity Capture may become a mechanism through which Relational Self-Loss develops.”

Recommendation: retain RS-005 as canonical going forward, since it specifies the causal role Identity Capture plays more precisely. Both documents remain valid and unaltered.

Section IX

Part IV — Dependency Relationships

Several streams’ constructs function as mechanisms feeding another stream’s outcomes. Mapping this dependency does not create a hierarchy of streams — all eight remain equal in standing.

Mechanism Feeds Outcome
Identity Absorption (RS-007) Feeds Relational Self-Loss Stage V (RS-005)
Conviction Surrender (RS-005) / Humility-Surrender Distinction (RS-007) Same phenomenon named from two directions
Self-Silencing (RS-005, Stage III) Feeds Silent Avoidance (RS-006)
Relational Blind-Spot Disclosure (RS-004) Supplies the evidentiary method both Mirror Principles (RS-002, RS-008) depend on

Section X

Part V — Hierarchy Observations

Observation 1 — A Shared Assessment Instrument

The six matrices could plausibly consolidate into a single cross-domain instrument in the future. This is a record that the material for it already exists — not a recommendation to build it now.

Observation 2 — A Shared Formation Sequence

The five-phase shape could plausibly become a single named sequence, with RS-004, RS-005, and RS-008 retained as legitimate variants for their specific cases.

Section XI

Part VI — Genuine Novelty Register

Four contributions appear in exactly one stream, with no echo elsewhere in the programme.

  • Spiritualized Avoidance (RS-006) — the use of religious language to suppress legitimate accountability or truth-telling.
  • The Feedback Disaggregation Method (RS-007) — separating feedback into Observation / Interpretation / Emotion / Request / Identity Claim. The single most concrete, immediately teachable technique in the programme.
  • The Formal–Actual System Gap and Culture–Policy Distinction (RS-008) — the only constructs operating strictly at the institutional level.
  • The seven-stage Self-Loss progression (RS-005) — the only fully staged developmental model in the programme.

Section XII

Part VII — Closure of This Record

This record consolidates the eight completed Research Streams as a Stage 5 exercise. It identifies five convergent patterns, one duplication, four dependency relationships, two hierarchy observations, and four genuinely novel contributions. It promotes none of these to formal theory, instrument, or Canon status.

Per the Documentary Completion Principle: this record’s purpose was to compare, not to build. That purpose is now fulfilled. Stage 6 remains a separate, independently justified step.

This record is preserved as RHF-CSC-001, alongside the eight Research Streams and the Closure Record it follows.
